Default What is this?

I replenished fuel but got some German torps. Odd. I used them and sunk a few ships.

You didn't give much info, but from the picture I assume this is the "Donation Narwhal"? If it is, there is a mistake in the .dat and .sim files. It is explained here:

http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...151524&page=47

I thought they released a fix for that and the Deckgun problem, but I can't seem to find it. Maybe one of the team will jump in. I don't have a final version of the sub so I can't send a fix, other things have changed on the sub since the version I have.
But if you know how to use S3D, change the tube doors as explained in the link, from Balao to Narwhal and it fixes the problem.

Give those back, you thieving Yank! They're property of the Unterseebootwaffe and if you don't, well, I'll just have to...well, something, since USN torpedoes aren't worth stealing.

By the way, is that the Narwhal mod?

Yes, it ist the Narwhal mod! Those torps had to be set on contact influence. I'm a thieving Canadian, no Yank here!

I guess there is a flaw with the Narwhal.

I'm not knowledgeable in S3D. If you'd like to explain it, I'll read and try to figure it out.

I sent a PM to Keltos to see if this has been fixed. If it is fixed, you should be able to download the fixed version. If it hasn't been fixed, I'll so some screenshots on how to fix it, or you can send me your .dat and .sim file from the submarine folder and I can fix it for you.

Default Das blinkenlites is not fer tuchin

You didn't say where you got your fuel. Maybe you were in the wrong port?

What a clever trick.

I'd check the crew again. Maybe you have some stowaways with foreign sounding names.

I just heard back from Keltos and explained the problem and solution. He said he can release a patch for it, so it should be available soon.
Like I offered before, if a fix is not releases you can post here or PM me and I will make sure it gets done. As I commented before I was not part of the team, I just helped out on a few problems, so I don't know if my files are the same as the release version.

I have posted a video tutorial in the MODs forum to fix the German torpedo problem.

are you sure you docked at a U.S. /Allied port?? that sounds like Germans or Krauts loading the boat with duds.. Surface and report to COMSUBPAC at once. This is preposterous, indigineous, and unacceptable.

Just like Turkish said; ''ZE GERMANS ARE HERE''

Yes, it was Midway, I still have those german torps. I've only engaged one merchie, on the surface in the patrol run I'm on now. After I return I'll see if the files I've modified work. Those torps don't work on contact setting, but contact influence works like a charm! Unlike the MK 14's lol!

CmdSolo, just remember to leave those German women alone

Admiral8Q, I am not sure you can fix that in the middle of a career. So if it doesn't work, try it on a single mission or start a new career just to see if the fix worked. It worked here, but I was not in the middle of a career. I hope it doesn't mess up your current career.
