How to change gramophone music?

Hi,

I downloaded some music files here to change the gramophone music, but where do the files go? I can't find the game files. I found where the saved game files are, but not the main game files or gramophone folder. I downloaded SH3 from Steam and I have Windows 7. Maybe these programs automatically put the files in a folder that I don't know about. Does anyone know where the game files are?

Your game files will be in the folder marked "steamapps". for example SH3 on my comp is located at; C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common.
Once there, you can put the gramaphone tracks in the gramaphone folder, by going into data, then sound, and the gramaphone folder is there.

The music is available from my FF account (link above my sig).

I'd advise you to only put ogg.vorbis format in your gramaphone folder to avoid tracks skipping and conflicting with other formats.

Jimbuna's music list, I noticed, were recommended in several threads and that's what I'm listening to now. I like the movie/TV series scores, and the variety with the music of that era that Jimbuna included. It gives the game a different flavor. Well done!
