Hey I talked to the Titanic !!!

Well actually the museum.

As some of you may know I operate HAM radio at times.

Last night I came across an odd call from W0S which is an unusual call sign. I made contact with good signal reports from both sides one the 40 meter band in LSB mode.

It turns out it was a special event station commerating the sinking of the Titanic.

Heres their website

http://web.me.com/squarerod/Site/Tit...ial_Event.html

Cant wait to get their card !

I've been to that museum! If you're interested in the Titanic you would really enjoy it.

When I first read your thread title, I thought you were going to say something along the lines that a radio signal from 1912 looped in a weird cosmic accident and you were receiving the real SOS call. I'll just leave that to the science fiction committee.

Heh it was a little strange at first when I heard that call sign which was very very unusual.
