I have tried to get time compression to work right so that when an enemy boat is sighted my boat does continue towards it at TC8!!!
I tried to adjust the setting in the CFG file as all other silent hunters were adjusted. But this seems to not have done anything. I also would like time to drop to one when a radio contact in my area comes up. Is the TC data stored elsewhere? |

Documents\SH5\data\cfg\main.cfg to change a current campaign or Silent Hunter 5\data\cfg\main.cfg to change for a new campaign. I think.

Heh your lucky if it does actually drop to 8x like its supposed to.
Fairly often the TC drops suddenly with the announcement of "We have heavy flooding sir" ![]()

I've never run over 1024 and never had this happen. If you're running in 2048+ sure, because you're simply not leaving yourself enough reaction time.
