Sounds and check Lists

Hello Modders,

This is more of a pipe dream than a request but if it could happen well i guess it might help SH5 become a little more excititng. I am no sub sim expert but i am pritty sure that once the dive or surface command was given in a WW11 Sub there was a freenzy of noise as people where running though check lists and reporting back though the line of command. Why does this not happen in any of the silent hunter games. For example, XO issuse dive command and the player should be able to hear the dive master issuing the reliant sequence of commands and responses as they work though the check-lists, until they complete them and the dive is complete. At this time compartments should also be preparing to dive the and therefore should be "checking in" once they are ready to dive. This should be the same when going to battle stations - you would surely hear men Shouting though the ship, noise from running and frantic sounds as they get the ship ready. But yet there is nothing in silent hunter 5! In fact if you issuse the battle stations command some guy just shouts battle stations!!!!! I am sure this is not how it would be! I am no modder and do not pretend to be so if some is working on or thinking of working on this drop me a line as i would love to help. If someone can do this it would be amazing! and you could apply this to every part of the game.

Use some audio mods (ie. Capthelm Audio Mod and some Das Boot audio mods) and MightyFine Crew Mod for start

I have tried them and they are not very good (well that is harst - just not what i am looking for). I cannot find the das boot mod for sh5. If anyone is working on this i would very much be intrested to hear from you. I am looking for a relistic command chain.

You could probably download the sound mod for SH3 and just use the dive sound in SH5.

I'm pretty sure that the MightyFineCrew mod adds in sounds like that as well.

Im also recommend More Crew Commands by Dialog mod.
Ask with this mod your radio guy to send some report and see what he will be doing

With Audio mods one advise - check files and choose whitch u want to swap, then make your own collection.
And wachout about data\Sound\sh.sdl, some mods swap that file and some sounds doesnt work any more. ie. Stormys DBMS swaping that file for some puproses but with his file I cannot get to work some long diesel engine loop etc.

I have tried some of the SH3 mods on SH5 and they just do not work - bad times. I am guessing that over time this will change as mods get to work. Thanks for all the advise guys, if you see anything that comes out please drop me a line.
