Just installed GWX Gold and one thing I immediately noticed . . . it's dark at night!
![]() Not that I'm complaining, mind you. When you're far out at sea, with no moon and full overcast, it should be really dark. But if I'm having such trouble spotting ships, do the enemy have the same trouble spotting me? Also, quick qustion: I see the binoculars have lost the bearing circle. Makes sense. But, ummm . . . if I'm standing on the deck, facing starboard, and slowly turn 360 degress whilst scanning the horizon, I know when I've turned a full circle. But there's no way I can terll now, when using the binoculars, if I've made a full, 360 degree horizon sweep. Is there a way of adding just a basic N-E-S-W compass rose to the binoculars? Danke! |

![]() As long as it is early war, meaning the enemy will not have radar, then yep, you can get real close and they won't spot you. After the torpedoes go boom expect every searchlight in the convoy to come on. Be prepared ![]() |
