[REL] 3rd Person Captain Proof of Concept DEMO

This is just a proof of concept demo to get some feedback. It is not intended for general play. Some of the animations have his arm going thru the tower, you may get CTD, etc.

Note: This is not a way to view the player in 3rd person. It is a representation of the captain on the bridge when using the Free Cam. He does not appear when submerged or when the player is in first person mode. He is not connected in any way with the location of the player. There is no way, that I know of, to connect him with the player's location.

It is not compatable with the MightyFine Crew Mod and may cause CTD if used with it. Uninstall MFCM if you want to try this mod.

i like that idea, i will give it a try but its sad that it is not working with your great MFC mod.

The concept works with MFCM, and will be in the next version. I just stripped all that out for the demo so that it wouldn't require it. Maybe I should have gone the other way.

Question - in your picture I see you have the swardfish emblem on the front of your tower

I seem to only get emlems going on either side of the tower yet many photos from the period show front only - is this a mod or is this how that particualr emblem loads

Off topic, but I'll answer it anyway.

The Type VIIA has the single front emblem, the VIIC has them placed on both sides of the tower.
