somebody please!
this is annoying the hell out of me. I can't get away from them. They buzz by at all hours of the night dropping me out of time compression. It's taking forever to traverse the meditaranean. Last edited by gutted; 03-28-10 at 07:30 PM. |

Erm, what happened to the immensely helpful Standimeter thread with pictures?

i removed it because while doing it i realized how broke it was.
You can get it "somewhat" accurate by using the areas i showed earlier, but that reference might move slightly depending on how far away the ship is. In other words If you were to figure out the correct range for each tick mark on the left hand scale for a given mast height (by doing the math).. then put the stadimeter in those locations... the error can grow by a few hundred meters from 1 tick to the next. Sooo. i removed it for the time being. It wouldn't let me delete the first post, so i changed it's content's to this "request" and changed the thread title.. but title didn't change. |
