Hey,
Is this feature available in the game? I ran into a merchant convoy with 2 escort destroyers who managed to destroy all my periscopes. Now while being submerged I picked up a sonar contact which says Unknown but I can tell it's quite faint and very slow screws. I thought that might be a friendly U-boat. What brought me to this thought was that before I intercepted the convoy, two of the ships were slightly on fire like they've been hit before. Then again I saw someone here say that AI subs cannot submerge. |

I wish it were true,I would love to take part in a wolfpack attack,of which i'm sure its not simulated

AI U-boats are scripted into GWX3.0 and do attack, but only with their deck guns, they are unable to fire torpedoes or submerge.
