Default SH5 megamod ...?

Gentlemen, in the first place I want to aplogise if this topic was already touched by somebody else before me.
After more than a year since SH5 was launched I see that there are a lot of mods and the SH5 players seems to use a "soup" from this point of view. I am wondering if there is any common effort going in the vein and with a similar complexity with WAC, GWX, NYGM or LSH and if not, if there are some ideas to start this type of effort. I am interested in that because this would be the only way I would play SH5. Don't get me wrong, I know that there are a lot of modders working hard to make this game playable, but as far as I know there isn't a common and coordinated effort. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Unfortunately, I see this thing happening regarding SH3 as well, efforts dissipated in a lot of directions, but at least, we have those megamods above mentioned.

Will this thing happen one day sooner or later or I am just dreaming?

Alternatively you can install Sober's mod list, who test's and updates regularly. You need a bit of patience but it highlights the amazing and extensive work the modders have been up to behind the scenes.

I think you will get a megamod one day, not yet though. Still a lot being worked on/refined/added to the game. This has been a hot last few months for SH5 in terms of progress, and it does not show signs of slowing down. Once all the needed features make it in, I'm sure someone will make the one stop download of your dreams. I will say this though: The lack of a megamod has nothing to do with the community not working together.

As suggested, Sober's mod list is updated and tested frequently, he keeps up on all the hard stuff like load order so you don't have to. Simply copy/paste the mods in his list one by one into google search usually will get you to that mod's download page much faster than trying to search within subsim. It took me less than an hour to get all the mods downloaded and placed in the correct order and playing CTD free, and having the time of my life.

If you go to the Magnus Opus thread in the modding section you'll see that an updated version is in the works.

I think you have to keep in mind that modding is a hobby for the mod comunity and as such modders will naturally spend more time on doing things they want to do or are interested in as opposed to what the players all want.

It will come... have a little faith.
