This is bugging me to no end. Anyone have an idea how to fix this? It seems that the deck hatch is a red hot glowing mess, no wonder my crew doesn't want to go on deck after dark.

I've seen this before, it happens sometimes when the interior lights change red. I would also like to see the color of the hatch changed to match the others on deck. I guess they left it lighter in color as a clue for finding your way inside the sub.

"Aye Captain, I've seen the hatch and wished it was painted properly when we were last in port also."
I'm glad you said something though because the modders are swimming through dozens of fixes and this is good that you threw it onto the pile of 'things to fix' also. ![]()

Btw, adding water still doesn't help as it will still glow while submersed after it happens.

If you open and then close it while on the surface, it'll stop glowing.
