Default Polarized...

I was just noticing how polarized this community has become over SH5 that it looks like Republicans and Democrats at work on the hill now.

Maybe we should split the forum into those who have it and those who don't and want to crow about it and how broken it is.

Hah! I was about to say "I'm not polarized!" But I really am. I absolutely refuse to buy it because of "IT", but I see the potential and desperately want to play it, or at least start working on it. But even if I bought it I couldn't play it right now. But I so badly want to. But I...

So which category do I fall into?

Yes, because splitting the community into two separate categories is such a great idea!

I think it's only polarised into those who aren't impressed enough to buy it
and those who have baught it, but think it needs lots of work to become good.

That's not very polar.

No, wait! Now, thanks to Letum, we can split into those who write polarised and those who write polarized!

Steve, trust me on this one: you're not missing anything
I've uninstalled it until they fix the save issues. S.T.A.L.K.E.R time

Actually, the time is coming for people who are not going to buy and play the game to move on. They have made their point, this forum is for discussing the game, not screaming about why you are not going to buy it over and over and over.....

If they play SH4 or SH3, there's a forum for that.

I'm fine with dissenters, but when I see a few posts about how a user won't buy it due to DRM, and see later posts (Or they continue on in the same post) about all the "bugs" it gets a little old.

If you don't want it that's fine. Those of us who have it are aware of the bugs.

I just don't see a need for an individual who is sitting out due to DRM to cry to the hilltops about how broken the game is.

Just please, leave the evaluation of playability to those who play it.

I actually meant another SH5 forum for those who haven't bought it to vent about DRM/bugs. I have a new one. My chronometer ticks on every minute now which makes a nice annoying rapid ticking when in TC. Can't start or stop the stopwatch either and no fix on reload. Curious.

It seems like the SH5 forum is the anti-SH5 forum and the SH5 Mods forum is for folks who are actually interested in the game. So you already have your split forum.
