Yes ! i like the song but i hope these compo are no Nazis.
It was the first time I heart anything from them.

I am German and I am not very proud of our history.
Ok, our history not complained only the thirt Reich.

We have also Einstein, Goethe, Schiller an maybe Mozart too and so on.

But i hope here, in "English" Waters you know what i mean.

Good Night

Turtle

They're probably not pro-Nazis, just somewhat historians. There is one song called Rise of Evil, talking about Hitler's rise to power, therefore, calling it Evil, to me, means they're not pro-Nazi. One thing for sure is that the Germans somewhat changed the way warfare is battled. Long gone are the "Napoleonitan" battle lines... Here's the link for the Rise of Evil music video :

Nice one, a Canadian band too... IIRC, Canada had the 2nd biggest merchant fleet in the world in WWII...

somehow everytime a metal band sings about the Germans in WW2 everyone immediately thinks it's a nazi band.
(let alone all folk metal bands encorporating germanic symbology in their music)

and even if they were nazis, so what? It wouldn't make their music less good now would it? I listen to several fascist bands and communistic bands and paganistic and atheistic and satanistic bands and whatever more and I don't give a **** about what their ideologies are. If they make good music they make good music and that's it.

Well written.

@Turtle01
And btw before thinking Sabaton would be a "nazi-band":

Youtube->Search Sabaton->Enough Songs->The Lyrics are pretty good understandeble->So you would know Sabaton has the THEME: WAR in their songs, especially on the last three CDs.

For Example: Track "Panzerkampf" -> Sight of the Russians in WWII
or "40:1": Sight of Polans in WWII when Hitler odered Attack on poland.

There are enough Songs from them, From American Side too...and from a lot of wars happend worldwide.

Better think before writing and speaking I think
