DW Game Bug

I have just recently did a full format on my hard drive had windows xp reinstalled dw was reinstalled patched to 1.04 i seem to have recently gotten this bug whenever i press f5 or click on the nav map icon the seems to on occasion crash any possible solutions or fixes?

First try the simple stuff: total reinstall of DW making sure no background programs are running. Check for the bug before installing the patch. Then install the patch and check for the bug. Also defrag after installing DW.

Any error message when you crash?

Do you get to see the navmap at the start of a mission? Does it also crash then? Or does this only happen when you press the f5 button/navmap icon?

I've never heard of this before. Just some wild thought
I have. Are you able to look at 3d views of other stations? Maybe the 3d window is the cause of the bug. If so, try disabling 3d view in the config settings. For me it helped tremendously getting rid of annoying stuttering sound.

ok like i said i had just did a full format of my hard drive had windows xp reinstalled freshly installed dw then patched it and its a bug that comes and goes it happens specifically when i hit the shortcut key f5 or click on the nav map button to bring up the nav map sometimes it never happens during a match and other times it does btw my computer can more than handle it especially my graphics card here i will list my specs: AMD Pheneom II 3.0 ghz quad core ddr 3 ram 1333 mhz video card : ATI Radeon HD 4850 1gb i have 4 gb of ram installed but since im using windows xp 32 bit i only utilize 3.25 gb P.S. this bug was also occuring before I had my hard drive formatted i was assuming doing a full format on my hard drive and reinstalling the game would fix it
