Default Question about loading mod patch

I have TMO 1.9 installed and would like to add the patch. Do I take another snapshot of the game folder with Generic Mod Enabler? Or do I import or find the mod patch under the task button?

Thanks for any help.

Not sure what you are asking, but just install the patch after TMO. Get the patch the same place you got TMO. You could then take another snapshot if you want. I never do, but....

Sorry I wasn't clear. I was not sure if a snapshot was required each time a mod or patch was installed.

I went ahead and did another snapshot, even tho it told me I had already taken one and asked if I wanted to do it again. I then installed the patch.

Seemed to work though there was no indication that the patch installed...but it didn't crash.

Thanks Banjo. Looks like you and I joined this forum in the same month and year...but you have been more actively participating.

Speaking of banjo, I play a 5-string...but haven't taken it out of it's case in over 6 weeks now. Been busy.

Thanks for replying.

NO, do not do another snapshot. The snapshot is suppose to be the "original" game files in case the MOD messes up. You should disable your mods and do another snapshot if you can. Your new snapshot included the MOD. I think that is the way it works.

IMO snap shot is only required before you install any mods. So that once you wish do install something else (example different supermod), you can use the snapshot to compare the game files - to insure that you have a clean install of SH4 v1.5.
