Sending contact reports. Will anything happen

On my way back from my first patrol in the campaign i spotted two separate task forces quite close together in the English chanel. Both task forces have British aircrat carriers, but i have no torps left.

I sent a contact report for one of the task forces, not had chance to send one for the second yet.

My question is, is it worth me sticking around in the hope that there might be some action? Might other U-boats come and have a go at them?
