What are the odds of coming across a British submarine?

I found one and sunk his arse as well a few days ago.

He spotted me and submerged. I kept heading for him in the direction he was going. 10 minutes later he surfaced.. and i took him out with the deck gun.

Pretty funny.

CAUTION: I had to reload this a few times. Apparently trying to use the Hydrophone when near an enemy sub will crash your game. The exact second i clicked on the hydrophone, instant CTD. First i thought it was just a fluke, then the next time i thought it was my save, then on the thrid time i concluded it was because of the enemy sub nearby. Luckily i had just saved it.

Of course you got no credit. A submarine is neutral buoyancy and thus 0 tons displacement! Just kidding it's an awful bug!

Ran into one a few days back. Sent two right up her nose but no credit lol. Figure two should sink her but perhaps she dove and got away? Guess I'll have to find another lol.

I will say though, compared to the sleek lines of the U-boat those English subs are downright ugly

I caught one on the surface on the way home to Wilhemshaven and sent him to Davy Jones with the deck gun, like you guys I got no credit even though the sinking is listed in the captain's log. I want my 540 tons and my warship credit!

also found 2 U-class subs in the north sea, after they spotted me, they dived.

...as it was not too deep there (about 80 meters) one of the subs dived too deep and run aground. (i must say i hit it 6 times with my deck gun on surface before).

I didnt expected that, i thought ok nice, enemy subs are diving now, thats indeed an improvement, also diving below periscope dept wow.

Problem was, the grounded sub tryed to go ahead, but there was a higher ground level in front of it, so it was running for and back for and back, like the stupid surface ships...

the sceenshot shows, the ai subs have also the same problem with the seabed, its visualy to low...

...also had that ctd by entering the hydrophone station while next to an enemy ai sub.

I've kill 3 so far now.

Last guy spotted me and submerged, but i spotted his scope after a few minutes by chance and followed it until he surfaced.

I sank one for sure and another one as well or he submerged. Didn't get credit for any. Starting to wonder if there is a problem getting credit for these. Has anyone gotten credit for sinking one?
