Default What magnificient Moders we have!

51 mods in the downloads plus a few tucked away in threads all in the space of a few weeks since SHV was released!

YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks guys for all your hard work now and in the future soley for benefit of others less talented than you guy's enjoyment.

The stock game was ,in my case, nearly shelved until you good folk steped up to the plate.

Many many thanks

Ringy.

I'm surprised any faith was ever lost. Hearing people cry like children the last few weeks has really put a negative spin on this forum, we used to have sensible chats and get to the hearts of problems before crying to the devs. I never once doubted the abilities of the modders, and unfortunately neither did the devs.

Amen to that! With the Mods I've got SH5 is incredible! I'm all set and Patch 1.2 hasn't even come out yet

SH3 is becoming a distant memory

I haven't been on the forum long but I'm blown away by all the good work you guys have done already. SH5 is a million time more playable, thanks to all the modders.

Keep up the great work!

It makes you think doesn't it?
While the suits who decided to snatch the game from the devs and push it out the door with all the glitches and with the god awful DRM are tucked up in their beds while enjoying the profits don't give a rats ass about the community and the only thing that they care about are their financial monthly records.
All without one single post on the forums about any upcoming patch details.
And here we have the modders doing their own day jobs while dedicating their own time to fixing the game while sacrificing time to make the community happy and better.
Without the modders I would have dumped this game the day I bought it.

and that is why I am doing my part to fix it. I was PISSED beyond belief when I tried to play the game the first time. ALL basic functionality was missing. That is what drives me to fix it. The game has SO much potential.

Truth be told I haven't played a single mission or campaign yet. It's just a testing platform for me currently. Once it's 'playable' in my eyes then I'll start playing it.

I am loving your mods DW and modders like yourself will hopefully bring in more that will see the potential this game has and build on it.
When I played SH4 all those years ago and play it not with the great mods it ha, you realise how important the modders are to these games.
I would love to be able to do what you guys do.
But I am just an easy pleased man but hard to please on subsums, who only has experience in the construction trade.
I can also do a mean overclock and watercooling setup.
So if you need any help there please ask.
House extensions and overclocks are all I do.

You might and not know it yet. With the exception of a couple of trained programmers, pretty much every modder here started out by saying "I don't like that. I wonder if I can fix it?"

Just ask Ducimus. He went from wanting to change one thing to being one the most respected of the SH4 crowd.

Yeap. The most important 'talent' is the motivation to dig in and figure out how things work. Everyone starts with zero knowledge.

That's why I appreciate all of your work here.
I have 2 jobs, 2 babies, 1 wife (trust me 1 is enough) and I honestly don't know where I would find the time to do it.
That's why I don't understand how you guys find the time to do it.
