[REQ]Electric engines on surface

Hey

Anyone know if with all these new scripty thingies it would be possible to make the e-machines usable with a press of a button? Even on surface?

Would be nice.

Really i dont recal them using the electric moters in the surface in das boot.

Didn't they use E-motors to leave the pen? Might have been Iron Coffins too, the hell I remember.

Yeah, On the book Iron Coffins, Werner clearly says that they used to leave the pens on electric drive.
Also late on the war they navigated their harbour exits on electric drive to avoid triggering acoustic mines.
Would be a nice feature to have.
