Weather, Watch Crew, and rain coats

Ok, so I've tweaked my sub's cfg file to allow the crew to man the deck gun in rough weather. I am aware that this conflicts with their ability to change into rain gear.

So my next thought was: Can I somehow overwrite the 'good weather' outfits to always appear like rain gear? Is there a mod for something like this?

I tried that fix myself when I first started playing (couldn't hit jack with a torpedo... lol), but I found the pitching of the boat caused me to miss most of the time anyway. I think the limit is a wind speed of over 7 and the crew change clothes and you can't use the guns. I compromised and changed it to 10, so I'd have the use of the guns longer but lose them when things got too rough.

As for changing the kit on the bridge, I guess it's a case of swapping out the textures, but I don't know how many textures are used for each individual or whether there are other factors involved. Try raising the limit as above and see how you get on, you can see what needs changing in the mod's files and change them in the mod yourself. All weather guns just seems a bit of a cheat, and not a very helpful one at that, but I also don't think a wind speed of above 7 knots should render them useless.
