Editing sub stats?

I remember there being a way to edit subs stats to change things like speeds and crush depth ect..

Just feel like making an uber sub for a bit of fun when i am not running away from escorts in GWX..

Ok.. I found some stat files in the submarines directory. I backed up and edited the type VIIb cfg file for surface and submerged speed. It dident appear to have any effect. Is there any other file i have to change? Or does it only take effect with a new career?

In NSS_Uboat$$.sim look unit_Submarine node...
For editing speed look in Propulsion and E_propulsion nodes max speed parameters...
Use S3D...

Use S3D from skwas, as you can change most anything in SH III

I knew there was a program but compoleatly forgot what it was.

I have edited my speeds but i can only run submerged for a very short period before the betteries die..

I cant find where the files are stored that deal with equipment.
