Default CTD Problems

I'm getting CTD's on certain single player maps. Its the dreaded Kernel error. Any way to resolve the problems?

Here's my specs and mod list. All my drivers are updated.

Computer Specs

Windows Vista 32-bit sevice pack 2
Intel Core 2 Duo T8100 2.10 Ghz
3gb ram
Nvidia Geforce 8400M GS 256 mb dedicated (1535 mb total available)

Woo hoo, I think I fixed the Kernel error problem when trying to use different boats in single player maps. I turned down the settings for SH3 in my Nvidia control panel to default. Then set SH3 to run in Windows XP Service Pack 2 compatibility mode along with run as administrator. Now everything works and I tested it with a few maps this morning and not kernel errors so far.


Maybe this will work too for people having kernel problems with Flakmonkey's Interior Mod.
