Looks fantastic. Looks like there's quite a lot more modding freedom and tools than I expected

It's also nice to see whoever took the screenshots uses the most important modding tool of them all, Notepad++

now this is great! Wonderful, all the necessary modding tools are delivered!

@Notepad++: will the language file for the syntax highlighting of the SH5 script files also be on the game DVD, or available for download somewhere?

Holy smokes Dan, that looks fantastic. I haven't delved into it, but that is extremely promising.

To explain in easy terms... Imagine you've been sailing on an empty ocean for 2 whole versions. A single merchant here and there, nothing big. You hear in the distance a convoy and expect it to be yet another well defended Tramp Steamer. But when you raise your scope, there's the might Yamato+Bismark+Mississippi with no escort in sight. All dead in the water with engines broken. And you have 20 torpedoes. And a sexy nun.

Heh, watch, you'll have to be tethered online to DRM to use the mod tools too.

edit: Nevermind, i found out it isn't. My sarchasm stands corrected.
