Default AA setting in game this time?

Here's a question to the devs that I know are around here...are you putting an Anti Aliasing setting in the graphics menu? id rather not have to run it via an external application like Catalyst. it's 2010, i hope to see it in game

thanks,

-Gimpy117

From the looks of the screenshots in Neal's preview, it is in.

From the Dev interview:
Quote:
Subsim: Remember when Silent Hunter 4 came out, there was a problem with anti-aliasing, is that gonna be a problem this time?

Alex: No, it's perfect. (laughs). No, no problem with the anti-aliasing.

Subsim: So, this game wont have the jagged edges in the higher resolutions and bigger screens this time?

Alex: No, there shouldn't be any problems.

I'm going to take him at his word and assume it is perfect, and not the sort of half-assed perfect we had with SH3&4, ie. AA works up until 4X, after that it removes the sun halo. Or introduces white lines around the stanchions and rigging. Or thins out the smoke.

Neals video just about wrapped up the AA question. I think we are good to go in that department.
