Default Bug bugs me

Well, I sink a ship off Hartlepool or whatever and I'm completely out of ammo. I sail back home to Wilhelmshaven and dock. Lo and behold, I can't do any crew or sub management in the office!!! I can go to barracks, but that's about it!! I roll back to just before I get to port, and hit "return to port," and I can than do the various tasks I'd previously been prevented from doing. Anyone know how this bug works?

I think you have to leave the campaign and come back. You can award medals after a patrol, but everything else has to be done just before you start the new one.

I think.

I don't know because I use SH3 Commander to do everything.

Whats the date ?
Anytime after June 40 and the 2nd flot has moved to Lorient
IF thats the case sailing back to Wilhelmshaven means you are not in your home port but a friendly one where you cant access crew screens etc
As you pressed return to home port on rollback and you can do all the stuff you couldnt did you check where you are ?
You may be in Lorient

Of course if your home port is indeed still Wilhelmshaven and you couldnt access those screens then something else is wrong tho not heard of that problem before

Your correct Steve, that is the safest way, (also the way I would do it) especially if it was the first patrol of a career, but is still not foolproof at times.

This problem sounds more sinister, possibly a corrupte file in the game installation.

Best try again using SH3 Commander and see if the problem is replicated.
