my disappointed friends of protest...the games-horizont is not that dark.

look, what some other small studios create. maybe some of you know the former version of this game "Natural Selection 1", which used to be a very successful half life 1 mod. now, last year the guys who created NS1 found some business angel, giving them the money to develop NS2, commercially.

ok, its a pure MP game...but, what do i see here? one of the first things released, was a beta SDK! and remember, the game is going to be sold! and to access the SDK, you need to preorder the game. but this is the new way, how creating really successful games!

the community is involved and ready to pay for the game. no illegal copies...no crazy DRM...just fun and innovation.
