What if decissions about DRM implementation to SH5 has not been confirmed afterall ? What if UBI provides inteligence service right now about what customers are thinking about DRM. Let's say they woud have not announced existance of DRM if they wanted to keep it a secret till the very last day of release ?

Of course it has been announced every place possible. In the end, feedbacks are showing how tolerant potencial customers are going to be to one thing or another..

If it is market research the person responsible needs to be shown the door.

Its harmed pre-orders and the communities perception of the game. Not that they seem to care as most indicators suggest SHV has been designed for the casual gamer.
