Unless they hide a big surprises or can squeeze in some of this stuff in the next weeks i dont see how they can put more than what they have said in the interview.

Very very very very disappointed in the 1943 ending.

the game ENDS abruptly right when things get interesting?

I'm not liking the sound of that

But how else will Ubisoft sell you an overpriced expansion pack?

Modders can only do so much. At some point, new functionality requires some support from the game engine. Air dropped homing torpedoes, for example. RDF intercepts for another.

Not to me then, will probably wait till they make a gold package of original and add on then.

Game end 1943 and only the VII???? That did it for me. This is just too lame...
I ain't hurrying out to buy it, as I did with SH3+SH4, I even preordered the deluxe SH4, not this time...

*sigh* i was hoping for some realistic merchantmen behavious...
such as... opening fire across the bow to force the ship to stop, then ask for it's papers. Of course the enemy ship could either be nice and obedient or try to ram me, out run me or start an SSS transmission.

1943??? WTH??? That and the fact that the periscope screen looks like crap, I am not overly pleased. May wait to buy it actually till I read reviews on it. I mean SH $ with the Trigger Maru mod is now a great game, more than happy with that and if I want to go German I can always install SHIII still.

Why does UBI do this??

Still too early to call this one.

I really like a lot of the things im reading about SH5.

but there are almost equally as many things about SH5 that leave me scratching my head.

How do you end the game ?

does a letter come in?

do you die uncontrollably in a scripted event?

does it just say...

"Congladuration... you have ciompleted a great game and prooved the justice of our culture, now go and rest our heroes."

im curious as to what end the game may meet with.

how does the story end with 2 furious and challenging years of World War Two still ahead???
