Default The Centaur found

THE Australian hospital ship Centaur has been found off the Queensland coast. Shipwreck hunters say it's off Moreton Island at a depth of 2000m.

I was reading up on it, and of the three candidates which may have torpedoed the ship, all three were lost later in the war. Unfortunately, the skipper who looks like he was responsible didn't die until 1991.

Of course, he may have just moved to a new address..

A member of our church was nurse on the ship. She didn't survive the sinking. There is a memorial to her on the back wall of the church.
