Today I hit a convoy that had a ship that showed up in the scope as "Replenishment". Turns out it is the Cyclops, which is a "ghost ship"
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USS_Cyclops_%28AC-4%29 I saw a Youtube video that shows this ship with a skull in a window. I did not see that through the periscope. 1 mag Torpedo sank it though. Good for like 14,000 tons. Steve |

Is that the one that went missing in the "Bermuda Triangle"?

There is a ghost ship?
![]() Yes, the original boat went down in the Triangle, thought due it being overloaded and worn out equipment leading to a loss in a storm. Also out of the four ships of that class, three where lost in storms, the other one became the first American Aircraft Carrier and later a seaplane tender (and sunk by japan IIRC) |
