I dont believe the "Saw it comming" one.

If a human insomuch as even touches a 4.8kv line while grounded they would be either exploded or burnt to a crisp.

One of my neighbours disagrees with you, though he did loose the full use of one arm in the process and that was with a 10kv line.

Try a generic electric fence. 10kv Bull-Stopper. Yes, it hurts (blew me half way down a hill when I used the wrong pliers - they had a hole in the insulating grips

) But not lethal.

Amps on the other hand......................

Once I made a 9 inch screw driver into a 4 inch screw driver in about a hundredths of a second.

I made the fundamental mistake that you should never make around electricity.

I asked someone to power down a circuit.

Lucky to be alive. Lesson learned. Education occured.
