Default Silent Hunter released .... on mobile!!!

This one really slipped under our radar/sonar, a mobile version of SH...apparently Ubisoft endorsed and designed to run on mobiles! Is this a good thing for the series?

Pocket Gamer has a review of the latest "Silent Hunter" check it out the preview & reviews here (pocket gamer.co.uk) and here (gameguru.in)

& visit the offical page over at handygames

Update.... the official trailer is available over at , cleverly selling two (or three... read on) games in one. By accident the marketing wizards at Ubi/Handygames seem to be advertising a competitors subsim in the trailer they actually use the phrase "Dangerous Waters" ...oops!

It does seem to be getting quite good reviews, though I hope the video footage has been increased and that is not the true speed of gameplay.

i dont like it. I see no love. Its just a typical arcade game with SH name brand slapped on it.

Looks like just silly fun to me. Unfortunately I don't play games on my phone, or do anything else but make calls, and not very many of them.

Kind of strange how they tied it in with the SH5 trailer, though.

And I am disappointed by the apparent lack of soup.

Maybe some people will have fun and recognize the name Silent Hunter when our treasured new release comes around, and buy it because of it. Perhaps expanding into that market will extend the userbase, can only be a good thing, right?

As long as Dan&Co take their cues from us, and not the mobile-phone players.
