Milkcows and Supply ship!

Hello there..

When you dock at supply ship in Sh3 ,you got gas and torps. TI or TII or what they have, but can u have some option to have torps like, fat or Lut? In historical way gas was the only thing they got perhaps some repars too, right or wrong!?

A milch cow or supply ship probably couldn't repair much more damage than the U-Boat's crew themselves could, although they could probably lend a few more hands and tools. The amount of extensive damage you can repair at sea outside of a proper shipyard in limited. Exotic torpedoes like the FAT and Lut were fewer in number and came relatively late in the war by which time most milch cows and supply ships were extinct.

The milch cows did have ovens for baking fresh bread and cakes. The supply ships had showers for the crew. Alas. Neither had women.

Docking at a milch cow ingame allows you to repair (1 day in time for every % point of damage), replenish torpedoes (default loadout only) and refuel.

You are not allowed to perform upgrades to your boat and equipment though.

Hey JimB, how about replacement crew? Wouldn't supply ships carry some? OK not a whole barracks full, but you might replace 1 or 2 if you were realistic?

In RL perhaps one or two, a doctor even for emergencies, but I don't recall the function being allowed ingame
