Guys I have been tring to get back into SHIII and have Commander installed. Big question : I have noticed that crew fatigue is always a problem. I have noticed that Torp reloads are forever and that many guys are always in a state of fatigue.( guys do rest but fatigue once back at station) It is almost a show stopper for me. Am I doing something wrong? I am always sending guys to both quarters and moving them back to stations once they are rested. I spent more time on this than anything. After 6 hours (game time) my guys seem to fatigue very quickly as soon as they seem rested they go back to work then only to quickly tire again at work location. Can I toggle this off or something it is really overshadowing my enjoyment.

There is an option in SH3 Commander to turn off fatigue altogether. Its in one of the dropdown menus (at work currently, so I can't tell you exactly which one) but that's how I play. I hate babysitting.

Go into options (the wrench icon at the bottom), select 'Gameplay Settings', it's the first option on the right. There are other settings to try if you want to keep fatigue but I, like many play with it off.

Yes, by all means turn off fatigue!!!
I am in my 2nd career without fatigue and it's a REVELATION! I thought maybe I would feel it was cheating, but boy was I wrong. Now I don't fear dropping to 32x tc anymore. No more going into action with half your crew snoring away. You won't regret it. ![]() |
