Default World War 2 Combat Cameramen (Docu.)

Was pretty interesting and had quite abit of footage I hadn't seen.

Abit of warning; there's some graphic scenes in the documentary, so keep that in mind.

Nice find !

I'll have to look at some of these at home. I watched the first few minutes of the first episode and already saw new footage.

Yeah I was absolutely surprised at the amount of stuff I haven't seen before. I've been a history nerd for years and at least 70% of the footage was new ground for me!

I cant even start to understand what went through the minds of the combat cameramen who were in Omaha during the landings. To shoot a significant event like that and survive it just to see some twat accidentally dropping the reels into the sea.

To some that's called 'censorship'

Just watched the first portion and...wow...thanks Dowly, this is a damn good documentary Top marks, the footage of the Midway battle and the hit on the Hornet is so damn crisp it's scary.

I love all the stuff Tom Hanks does for World War 2 veterans and documentaries like this. Sounds like a great guy and would love to meet him someday

Watched it. Ok stuff, especially the interviews. Not much of a Tom Hanks myself though.

Thanks for showing up OTH...our ray of sunshine

Nice find Dowly. I was not able to hear it as I'm at work. The models look very cool. I will check this out at home.

Oh I'm sorry, I didn't know Tom Hanks is the resident demi-god here at SubSim. Now I know.
