Awesome MOD by the way!!

A couple of questions about this mod.. This is a fresh install with just SH3 1.4 and SH3Commander..

1. Why do I only have an option for type II boat for first patrol??

2. Why cant I choose diffrent U-Boats but onlly type 2? Do I have to advance in the game?

the original version (stock out of the box) had diffrent career levels and boats to choose but SH3Commander only has 1??

that is because in SH commander your war starts earlier than stock, and thus the VII/B aint available yet? check MONTH and year, that might make a difference?

Start in Oct '39 and choose the 2nd Flotilla. You will get a type VIIb.

None of the above answers are true. You can have a Type VIIB even in August 1939, if you're using GWX.

Commander lets you have, right at the beginning:

A Type II, if you choose 1st Flotilla/Kiel

A Type VIIB, if you choose 2nd Flotilla/Wilhelmshaven

A Type VIIB, if you choose 7th Flotilla/Konigsberg

SH3 Commander also lets you choose from the correct historic boat numbers.

Those were the boats that were historically available. There was also the Type IXA, but since the earliest the game offers is the IXB, you have to wait until December '39 for that one.

If choose the 2nd flottilla and use historical u-boat availability dates then you get an IXB in October 39
