Default wierd one

Surface ships are a hassle. You download them and install them with Generic mod enabler..

Some you find are pretty good. But unfortently there is alot of "wip`s" that are semi complete...

There are a few that works good....but again, it all depends what you like...

Personaly i like the Destroyers and light cruisers...

Alot of the surface ships are not campaign ready...but some are. The most common problem i have encountered is CTD when launching boat...(agent or cargo)

Just dont complete those missions and you can have a fun carreer..

Fletcher. Works good, havent had a isue yet

Fubuki. Purple when damedged ctd when completting mission, and the damn alarm keeps going...(need more jap DD`s)

Baltimore. CTD when lauching boat

My favorite. Cleveland. CTD when launching boat <--- but sad that this is almost a forgotten one. It is as complete as they get. Yes a few bugs here and there. but main gun controll (love quards lol) and in general an awsome ship...

But instead of complaining i am reading and trying alot to make playable surface ships my self. Realy want more japanese ships (not BB`s) So well trying to learn

i wouldnt say playable ships are a hastle but they do have quirks you need to keep in mind.

the problem is, as far as the game is concerned, the sub is encased inside the shell of the playable ship so if you launch a torpedo and "boom" it hits the outer hull. the same for the launching of insertion or pickups, you cant do those because they cant enter or leave the sub because of this outer shell around you.

if you remember to keep those things in mind and you'll be fine
