another question:

i'm using TMO 1.7 with RSDC, so when i plied OP. monsun over it with JGME it "overwrited" some files, the playability of TMO will be compromised?

Lurker has intructions on how to install OM over TMO in the first post of his thread. Now if you want to add Lurkers OMEGU and OM together then that requires its own clean install.

I opt to run OM in an independant install with the help of MultiSH4 a small app that allows multiple installs with their own save game folders in My Documents.

Same here. The biggest problem is if you want German voices with your u-boat game, since SH4, unlike SH3, doesn't allow you a voice option. A separate install allows you to keep the voices separate as well.
