Whenever I load any SAVED game, there is a tell-tale wisp of smoke directly above my submerged fleet boat!!! Fortunately, the AI doesn't notice it, but it's really annoying. I'm running TMO 1.7. Any thoughts? I have no damaged components (my hull reads 002 damage). Don't recall even being engaged by enemy fire yet. It's only evident when I first load the game from any of my saved games in this career.

I get this sometimes also but mostly if I save just after sinking a ship.
I don't save till I'm 10 or so miles away, don't get it then. It's just a bug and I don't know if anyone ever fixed it. Magic

Yep, it´s an old one. I get it when I load a game where I recently has sunk something before saving. It goes away after a while though.

Usually the smoke goes away after you save and restart your next game.
