woe... WOE is me..gnashes teeth

hello Peeps

Yesterday I downloaded GWX3 and bins and GWX3 cnfg for SH3 Commanders, then put a fresh original install of SH3 on, patched it, tested it - fine.
Put on all the gfx3 modules I have listed here, and then started the game. Not fine.

Most of the graphics were missing and the game was therefore unplayable. I had a headless crewman in the control room surrounded by dials that were floating in air, and topside just blocks of blue and some thin black shapes of railings or ironwork.

Today I have gone through the whole thing again ( after deleting every trace of and reference to SH3 of course) and am now at the stage where I should be putting on the GWX3 files....

Should I be putting the GWX3 cnfg for subcommanders on before or after I have installed the other GWX3 modules, or does it not make a difference? I think I put it on after last time - seems the sensible way round.

If I still get the same result after doing that I will try rolling back the nvidia drivers. If THAT doesn't resolve it I dunno what else I can do, but meanwhile want to make sure I do everything right in respect of GWX3, which previously has never given me any problems at all.

Anyway, be pleased for any advice

While entirely unhelpful, I just read in another post that you got your dog back. Excellent news

Am I to understand you mean the CFG for SH3 Commander?

If so, this is an entirely separate/standalone software programme....simply add the CFG after you have installed GWX3.0 to a fresh install of SH3 patched to 1.4b but before running your first patrol.

If you click on my sig you will be taken to the GWX website where you will find a comprehensive set of installation instructions.

The GWX exe and 7 bin fileas as well as the GWX3.0 CFG for SH3 Commander are available from my GWX3.0 FF account (accessible from the bottom link below my sig)
