I have seen them before; nasty. Totally avoidable if the application and charger treat the battery with respect.

Most of the cases seem to be in France .....Im wondering if there might have been an accidental shipment of French Tactical Iphones - Their left lying around where invaders can find them , and in the confusion after they explode , the French are able perform their rearward tactical "straightening" of the main line of battle manoeuvre
