Default GM: Still Making the Same Mistakes

Quote:
GM, you introduce cars far too long before they can be bought. You make promises you can't keep. And then, instead of building value and driving margins up to where GM returns to profitability, you're once again diminishing how customers view your products by constantly finding ways to drive the prices down.

No change, just another reason we should let the American Auto industry die according to the rules of the market.

An increasing number of people don't want to buy American cars!

The government should not and really can not get involved.

Lee Iacocca gave us some good advice in 1982. He repeats it at the end of this clip

I took his advice and I, evidently, am not the only one.

I considered a Ford. I have one now(wife's truck). Nothing in their lineup got my attention really. I like the new Taurus but it still has that rental car stigmata to me. I purchased a VW Passat a week ago.

Stigma not Stigmata. If a Ford Taurus would have Stigmata that would be newsworthy.
