New System help

Well I've got me new system up and running,installed SH3/GWX Gold and some of my favourite mods, and everything is looking wonderful

For the first time I've been able to run the Hi-rez fix,and the widescreen fix

Only 2 problems are somewhat spoiling this otherwise brilliant outcome

1. I'm using a Nividia GFX card and at night I get a 'Twinkle effect' on the horizon and on the Wintergarden and cables of the U-boat,is this a known anomally specific to Nividia cards,or something else

2.I'm using an onboard soundcard and all the drivers are up to date,but for some reason I can only hear the U-boat engine when I'm facing dead ahead or facing the stern,this sound problem happens on the turm,and in the control room

If I pan the camera around,turn the UZO,or face in any other direction other than Bow/Stern all I can hear is the lapping of the water against the Hull

Any help,ideas or thoughts on this matter would be greatly appreciated

I don´t know if the "twinkling" is an NVIDIA only problem but try fiddling with different AA settings. You will get it at the cables on some ships too.

I had the same sound problem when I used the Real Tech onboard soundcard on this system plus slow framerates. Ripped the Audigy 2ZS from my old rig and put it in this one and all is OK.
