Are there UFOs in SH3?

Getting out of Pantelleria after raiding it, I rasied my scope to look around. Then I saw some strange objects in the sky.
Soon after, the game crashed to desktop.
I had another CDT before, also while raiding Pantelleria, but the first time it happened I didn't see these objects.
Anyone knows what may have caused this?

After zooming in with paint shop...no,no UFO.

All right, meduza, there was no alien. The flash of light you saw in the sky was not a UFO. Swamp gas from a weather balloon was trapped in a thermal pocket and reflected the light from Venus.

Now if you will kindly look at the tip of this pen.......

I managed to finish this patrol, without seeing aliens and without CTDs!

I arrived a day earlier then before and sank half an invasion fleet. The Pantelleria fell anyway.

Hmm..yes there are UFO's in SH3. Mostly, it is Unidentified Floating Objects, but you tend to know what it is sooner or later.
