Default Killing children in Oregon

I don't know what's in the water up here, but people are going nuts! This has all happened in the last month and ahalf.

Incident #1

Mom throws young children from bridge.

http://cbs3.com/national/bridge.oreg...2.1017858.html

Incident #2

Custody dispute #2, when in doubt, kill kids so no one gets them.

Incident number #3
The sick one!
When you want a baby, just take somebody elses....
by killing them and cutting the baby out of the mother!

In other words, watch out who you deal with on craigslist!

This story has abortion advocates up in a tizzy, because if they charge this woman with 2 murders (for the baby too) it will give the pro life groups ammo to ban late term abortions.

In ore-gone, state law says a baby is not a baby UNTIL it take its first breath. They have ruled on this already, and the lady is being charged with....
1 murder!

A republican senator tried to get a bill on the floor of the house changing the law.

The bill, was shot down by , you geussed it, the dummicrates. You gotta love the partisan politics in this state.

It is always sad when I hear of the death of a child. When I was a younger man none of this bothered me. As I grow older, more mature in my thoughts and ideas I cannot but wonder why things like this happen?

Blaming it on society seems like an easy escape from personal responsibility, murder is the correct charge in my opinion.

Dont know if its related or not but Oregon is infamous for its Pot industies.

Whole communites rely on the proceedes from this illegal industry. Alot of people look the other way. Its a very strange phenomonon.

I have some questions and they are: What is considered to be a late-term abortion? After the 3rd month, the 6th month? and, Is that allowed for any child or only those who have a kind of inoperable defect, that maybe couldn't be diagnosed in the early stages of a pregnancy? Because I can't see how anybody could be for the abortion of a perfectly healthy child, that could survive, if it was born at the time the abortion should take place.

Some say the craziness of the economy and the state of the nation drives some folks over the edge. I'm beginning to believe it.

We will just blame this on Bush.

I think a late term abortion is after 20 weeks. Most doctors agree that the youngest that a child can be born with any chance of survival is 23 weeks (and that has a high risk of major health issues).

I was born at 27 weeks and survived with minimal health problems, but others have been born later and have had greater health issues.
