screen shots are supposed to be saved to your main SH3 directory.

Go to C:

open the Ubisoft folder

open the SH3 folder, and it should be in there if i recall correctly

I am willing to bet that you have Vista and that is why you do not see them in your root directory of the game. If so, here is what you do. When you are at the directory look on the top and you will see "compatibilty files", click on that and they will show up.

Cheers

OP - Are you using the Res Fix? If so, you need to assign a path for your screenshots. Also with the fix CTRL+F11 won't work anymore, you need to use PrtScn.

And try Crl+PrtScn also; I recall reading that people using the resfix were variously having to use one or the other.

Yah...think I am using the Res Fix (on XP)...so will have to hit cntl-PrtScn, will it save them to the root directory sequentially or will it just do one at a time?

Darn!!! I lost ALOT of great screens of sinkings and other things...fooey!

Where in the .cfg files do I edit to point to a save directory? Not a problem modifying..I just need to know where to start

Thanks again guys!

Open the d3d9.cfg file with notepad (in your SH3 Program Directory).

Find:screenshotPath=.

And change to the full path you require, for example:

screenshotPath=C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\SH3 Screens

Save & exit.

Now use PrtScn while in game.
