Hi,
I like to 'walk around' my boat as much as possible. Like when attacking something submerged I am being found in the conning tower most of the time. I use the command bar as few times as possible (deactive them most of the time) and like to walk around freely, clicking at stuff ![]() (So no: periscope station *zip* sonar station *zip* attack map *zip* peri again ... ). Stupid thing always was that when at the attack periscope for example, you can use the [right mouse button] or [Numpad 0] to go back to the conning tower directly. But when doing this at the sonar station: *zip* you're back at the interior (F2) camera. Very annoying to climb back to the tower again every time I wanted to take a quick sonar sweep. So I went to the commands.cfg in [sh4 install]\data\cfg\ and found out there are the stations stations listed together with the station you will end up if using [RMB] or [Numpad 0]. I just changed the sonar and radar stations and the obs scope in that way that the last line in their block reads: GoBack=Conning_tower_camera The stations I had to change where 'Radar_view_ascope' 'hydrophone_view' 'conning_tower_periscope' 'periscope camera' and 'obs_periscope_camera' Actually, the obs scope I only changed because since the gato it is found in the conning tower, too. In older boats it is mostly found in the command room. For those I would leave the last line untouched. I also didn't test this for boats which don't have any conning tower ![]() But now I can stay in the conning tower for a whole execution of an attack, which feels much more convincing than beaming around the whole sub all the time ![]() Regards, i. |
