Technical questiion?

Have there been some issues between SH3 and Vista? I have a new machine so I reloaded SH3 from the disk, patched up and started the game eager to see what she looked like. I get a message stateing that a Starprotect Driver is not compatable with my version of Windows and needs to be patched. What is Starprotect? I assume it is something that came in with the SH3game. Is there some way around this? Has anyone seen this and is the patch safe?

I just noticed the thread above concerning Vista and Star force. Looks like i need to purchase the game again from NWS and that version will work. Is this correct? Is it a download? I am at work at present.

You could also go to Starforce and download the driver for Vista. Or, find a new copy that is already patched to 1.4 and is Starforce free.
