I am trying my first creation I model in GMAX. Basing it on HMS REVENGE file, I double and triple checked the scales modeled in ,, all are set correct. there are two skins, the 512 by 256 ( kk1CompleteMap.tga) and the 512 by 512,NBB_Revenge512.tga the COMPLETE map is her main deck,, just like the HMS Revenge, the NBB REVENGE map is her hull, other decks and bulkheads. exported them using 9.4 into SHIII the Deck maping defaults to the NBB REVENGE map and the deck is all messed up, Worse yet, the ship must be like 2000ft long!!, not 373ft see the photos to se the first testing GMAX ![]() the deck is there in game though ![]() ![]() Am i not understanding something in the maps? is the Game scale 1/10 of original scale or something?? thank you for help!

There may be a scaleing option for GMAX.
Been a long time since I used that. The deck texture problem is usually caused by a bad mtl. This has several causes. Send me a link to your files to look at. By looking at the files, I can tell you what caused the problem I need the exported files, ALL of them. And ALL of your modded files before importation. And the final dat that's messed up. |
