Single mission freeze....

Hi everybody, I'm new to this game and absolutely fascinated...However, I have a problem...I have GW 3 ( previously I had GWX2) and no single mission file can be loaded, the game freezes (sometimes takes my pc to the depths

)...I found some posts saying others have had the same problem....(the campaign works just fine) I'd like to ask whether there has been found any solution to this problem? I aprreciate any info on this....THX
